Convex Mirror, Security Mirror, Safety Mirror in polycarbonate, glass, acrylic and Inspection Mirrors |
Although high end security devices like cameras and motion sensors can deter crime, an ordinary convex mirror can be a great security device. Mirrors are in fact used all around the world as security devices in banks, ATM outlets, shopping malls etc. When used in the right place in the right direction, a convex security mirror can give you a 180 degree view of the room.
We have a range of convex circular mirrors for both outdoor as well as indoor use. Made of high quality acrylic that is extremely durable, these mirrors are vandal proof. Our mirrors can be installed at corners or even on your desktop PC. You will always be aware if someone is walking up to your desk.
For indoor use, we also have convex circular mirrors made of glass. |

Basic Security Mirror Concepts: Convex Mirror - Lens is higher in the center than around the edges. A Convex lens provides a larger reflection, giving more view than a flat mirror. This makes them the most popular choice for a sercurity mirror on a retail store, or a safety mirror in a warehouse. The second most popular lens Dome Mirror - We carry full dome mirrors, half dome mirrors, and quarter dome mirrors. A full dome mirror will provide a 360 degree viewing area while a half dome mirror will provide a 180 degree view, and a quarter a quarter dome mirror provides a 90 degree viewing angle. A full dome mirror will work great for a hallway intersection like you would typically see in a hospital. Half dome and quarter dome mirrors typically work well where the top of a wall and the ceiling meet. It is often difficult to fit a convex mirror there so a half or quarter dome typically does the trick. Inspection Mirror - This is usually a circular convex mirror at the end of a pole. We carry only the top of the line inspection mirrors that come with option for wheels and/or lighting. We also carry a truck inspection mirror which is great for extended areas like the top of a semi truck or freight car.
